I have a crush on hands, you know. Those are awesome.
The whole assembling process was easier than expected!

Did you need any special tools or anything to string them?
I just purchased (about six minutes ago) my dia boy from soom and I'm already scared to string the hands haha.

You need a lot of patience. XDD
I didn't use any special tools, just a needle to help the little string pass through the very narrow holes.
Congrats for your incoming boy! ~

More or less! xD
Anyway, it's actually easier than it looks. The instruction sheet shows you how the string has to be put inside the hands that's basically all you need to know. I don't remember if it's in English, but there's a picture, so don't worry about it. It took me about thirty minutes for the first hand, but barely ten for the second. Once you figure out how it works it gets easier.
I hope you'll keep him, dia boys are so gorgeous! *w*

Wow! I can barely make a ball jointed doll body, let alone hands! These are awesome! If I ever make a BJD or two or a hundred, I don't ever think I'll be able to do this. These are incredible!

Yes, those are really stunning!
Anyway, you're great if you can make a bjd body, I wouldn't even know where to start. XD

I have done some research on how to make BJDs. I am still working on making my first one. It has been an interesting and fun experience. I am hoping to have my first one completed by the end of January, maybe February. Not sure yet. If you are interested in giving it a go, there is a BJD community online called, "The Joint". It is an extension of another group called "denofangels.com" There are numerous BJD artists in these groups that share their processes of making BJDs, materials, and where you can go to get all the info you need to make one. Check it out. You might decide to try your hand at it. Thanks for sharing those wonderful hands!
